Ember Bay

Ember Bay was released together with Living World Season 3, Rising Flames on 20 September 2016.

Getting There

  • Unlike most zones, Ember Bay is not directly connected to neighbouring areas. In order to reach it, players can use one of the two methods:

  • Use an Ember Bay Portal Scroll.

  • Complete the Rising Flames instance Taimi’s Game – the first story step of Episode 2 from Living World Season 3.

Collecting Coalescence (3AP)

Participate in each of the coalescence events around the island.

​

  • Defeat the dragon minions before they absorb too much ley-line magic

  • If success, [Group Event] Defeat the coalescence to disperse the ley-line magic

  • If failure, [Group Event] Kill the Imbued Destroyer Champion (Ember Bay)

 

For this achievement, simply complete a 3 minute pre-event at 3 locations in Ember Bay; Osprey Pillars, Burning Grotto & Lava Flats.
Pre-event: Defeat the dragon minions before they absorb too much ley-line magic.

If you complete this pre-event successfully and continue with the Coalescence boss, then you will be working on an achievement called Magic Dispersed.

If you fail the pre-event, you can still get credit for the first achievement but a different boss will spawn so you will not get credit the 2nd achievement.

Hungry Hal (8AP)

Take chum from buckets in New Loamhurst and hurl it at the White Mantle invaders.

Find the tallest, hottest spot on Ember Bay.

Navigate the lava tunnel in Ember Bay.

Magic Dispersed (5AP)

Defeat 5 coalescences to disperse their magic back to the ley-lines.

​

  • Defeat the dragon minions before they absorb too much ley-line magic

  • If success, [Group Event] Defeat the coalescence to disperse the ley-line magic

  • If failure, [Group Event] Kill the Imbued Destroyer Champion (Ember Bay)

 

For this achievement, you have to first complete a 3 minute pre-event at 3 locations in Ember Bay; Osprey Pillars, Burning Grotto & Lava Flats.

To succeed, you need to keep the bar from filling up for 3 minutes. If you succeed, the Coalescence boss will appear. Defeat this boss for this achievement.
Event: Defeat the coalescence to disperse the ley-line magic.

If you fail the pre-event, you can still get credit for Collecting Coalescence but a different boss will spawn so you will not get credit for the Magic Dispersed achievement.

Token Collector (40AP)

Collect all the mursaat tokens that were scattered around Ember Bay.

27. Infernal Cape: On the horns at top of the volcano

Cami’s Final Voyage (7AP)

Collect Cami's journal entries around Ember Bay.

  1. Infernal Cape: Look around the tip of the peninsula

  2. Shipwreck Beach: Northwest of the cursed circus, buried in rocks after the beach labyrinth

  3. Bleeding Pulpit: Located northeast of the bubbling caldera

  4. Lava Flats: Slipped under rock overhangs in the pool area

  5. Basalt Rise: The largest rock outcrop east of the vista

  6. Fractured Caldera: Northeast of Smoosh-a-Tron

  7. Sopor Titanium: Hidden directly west under the second staircase within the ruins

After defeating the Champion Jade Construct, stones will appear in the lava to allow players to access and commune with the Mastery Point.There will also be 2 updrafts that allow players to get to higher ground.

 

Tablets of the Unseen (10AP)

Read the mursaat tablets scattered around their old fortress.

 

These tablets are mostly found in Caliph's Steps.
